Just a couple of steps up from the reception and snug area, lies a mid-sized dining room and yes, it once housed the working horses for the farm. This space has seen several reincarnations, some of us even remember it as the original “Stables Bar” back in the mid 50’s. It became the golfers changing rooms in the 70’s and was recently converted back to a function area for our diners. Immigration and airfield histories are displayed on walls alongside some tack room memorabilia.
