BALFOUR Room

Located upstairs. Open at weekends or by prior booking

A vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and original rafters, make you feel that you have gone back in time. This room encapsulates the feeling of an old inn – it is inherently cosy. Here you will find a beautiful collection of paintings by renowned watercolourist James Lawson Balfour, lining the green walls of our restaurant. (Hardly surprising that we named this room after the great man).

This is our only room that is located upstairs, throughout the entire Inn and we do have a chairlift to make it accessible for everyone. The kitchen is on view here as it adjoins the dining room, which is a more formal setting with dressed tables of two or four and provides just the right atmosphere for those wishing to have an exclusive dining experience.

The Balfour Room is only open at weekends or by prior booking. We strongly recommend you call our friendly team to reserve a table to avoid dissappointment.
